System Conversion to Occur May 1st.


On May 1, 2018, Vinings Bank will convert to a different image-item processing company (known as an “IP vendor”) for creating and handling images of “items” (checks and other payments) which clear through your deposit accounts. The IP vendor is responsible for converting your paper checks into electronic images, and then processing the check images to make them available in your monthly statements and in on-line banking.


This conversion will better position the Bank in the coming weeks and months to offer new and improved services which require the use of check images, such as e-statements and mobile banking with check deposit capability.


Our staff and our vendors are working hard to make this transition as transparent as possible for our customers, but there are a few exceptions. Below is an overview of the upcoming Item Processing (IP) conversion process, and what to expect.


  • Customer Statements will be produced as normal on 4/30 with no interruption in service.
  • Currently, customers can view the current and previous month’s images via the transactional history in Online Banking. However, effective May 1st, both consumer and business customers will only be able to view images from May 1st forward. As history occurs with each passing day after May 1st, historical images will be available in on-line banking.
  • If a need arises for an image prior to May 1st, the customer will need to contact the bank to obtain a copy.
  • E-statements: Enrollment will be available through on-line banking for customers on or after May 31st.
